Household Inventory

Packing

An important part of your removal is the packing of your household effects (eg. books, crockery, china, clothes, glassware, linen, etc.). 

If you require the removalist to complete all of the packing please indicate your estimate of packing containers required using the description of the containers as listed below to guide your estimate.

If you require the removalist to complete some of the packing, what do you require the removalist to pack? (eg. China and glassware in lounge, complete contents of kitchen.)

If you are completeing the entire packing or only part, please indicate the number of cartons YOU will be packing in the PBO (packed by owner) column in the list of Packing Containers required below.

Insurance

Just as you insure your possessions against loss or damages while they are located in your home it is advisable to consider insurance cover while they are in the care of the removalist.

The two types of insurance available are specified events and transit insurance.

Specified events is a major perils insurance generally covering loss by fire, collision, overturning and flood while located on the conveying vehicle.

Transit insurance generally covers loss or damage to your furniture and effects from the time the removalist commences your removal until your furniture and effects are delivered..

As an insurance distributor, Removal Brokers Queensland is able to supply you with a quotation to suit your requirements. You may also be able to obtain insurance from your own sources.
